Auction five once-in-a-lifetime food experiences to raise and donate funds to the Red Cross Disaster Relief and Recovery Fund
As Australia faces one of the worst bushfire crises in history, The Local Tongue has teamed up with some of the world’s top culinary figures for good cause in an attempt to help the fire-affected communities and wildlife across the country.
You and your plus one could be spending your time with Chef Gaggan Anand of Gaggan Restaurant at his favourite street food stalls in Bangkok; dining with Chef Julien Royer at his Michelin Tree-star Odette restaurant in Singapore; tasting sweets in Bali with Chef Will Goldfarb of pastry bar Room 4 Dessert; sampling Italian cuisine with Chef Diego Rossi of Trippa in Milan; or exploring Sydney’s Chinatown with Chef Dan Hong of Mr Wong.
Bids are open now and all of the proceeds will be donated to the Red Cross Disaster Relief and Recovery Fund for charity. To bid, email [email protected] with your bid amount (in AUD), including the name of the chef you are bidding to spend the day with in the subject heading. At the end of the auction, The Local Tongue will contact the highest bidder for each of the chefs to arrange each tour. The prize includes all food costs within the destination city except for travel fees.* Winners will have 12 months to claim their prize.
