The recent floods in Southern Thailand have taken their toll—destroying houses and livelihoods. To offer assistance and help those affected get back on their feet, the owners of Bangkok’s Bo.Lan restaurant, Daungporn Songvisava and Dylan Jones, are organizing a charity event on Sunday, February 5th (from 11:30am till 2:30pm) to raise funds for rebuilding homes and infrastructure.
Expect a fun-filled Sunday afternoon with great food, wine, and an array of environmentally-oriented activities for all ages. In terms of sustainability being the key to the future, the activities will reflect this motto, and include the making of flour and curry pastes, as well as formulating natural household products.
Admission is B2,500 for adults, including free flow food and drinks, while kids and their nannies can join in for free. All the money will go directly to rebuilding homes and infrastructure in the south. For more information call 02 260 2961-2 or visit Bolanbangkok on Facebook.
