If you can’t catch a plane to Canada this autumn, you can still celebrate the changing of the seasons at the annual Thanachart Bank Maple Leaf Ball, hosted by the Thai-Canadian Chamber of Commerce on October 10.
Themed on “the Elegance of Autumn,” the gala embraces the country’s natural beauty and bounty with a pre-dinner reception, including cocktails from Monkey Shoulder, the world’s first triple malt Scotch; a traditional three-course Thanksgiving dinner; free-flow beer, as well as shots served by a roving cart; a Caesar cocktail; bottles of wine; silent and live auctions; and raffle and door prizes.
Accompanying the food and drinks will be a live performance by singer-songwriter Paul Ewing, an Artist Ambassador for World Vision and also the man who penned “Love Eternally,” a song reated for His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej on the occasion of His Majesty’s 85th Birthday.
Early bird tickets are B4000 per person while tickets for tables of ten can be purchased at B37000. Seats are limited, so act fast.
The dress code calls for formal attire, and the event begins at 6.30pm.
