The acclaimed star chefs from two of Bangkok’s most acclaimed contemporary restaurants, Eat Me and Bunker, share a ‘New York Moment’ with joint presentation dinner on August 22nd at Bunker restaurant (Sathorn Soi 12).
These two old friends from New York, who have since risen to great heights in Bangkok’s culinary scene, will be cooking together for the first time in Bangkok. Join Eat Me’s Tim Butler and Bunker’s Arnie Marcella as they share their memories of the Big Apple with a jointly produced 9-course dinner, held from 7pm to 11:30pm, priced at B5,750++ (including wine pairings).
The menu will include Eagle Rock oyster, from Washington State; yellowtail crudo, the raw fish served with a dash of Osetra caviar; one of the finest of all steak brands, Ohmi Wagyu, prepared seared tataki-style; veal stuffed into pasta pockets, agnolotti-style, and served with Parmesan cheese; mackerel char-cooked to a recipe created by the famous New York Kenka Japanese restaurant; abalone grilled and served with congee, Chinese sausage and ginger; New York strip loin served with baked truffle potato; and a black truffle ice cream.

About the Chefs
Tim Butler is co-owner and executive chef at Eat Me, listed every year since 2013 on Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants rating, and with a highly international menu that is influenced by Asian, and especially Japanese, tastes and styles. Arnie Marcella is executive chef at Bunker, which opened in 2016 and has a menu that is new American influenced by the Mediterranean and parts of Asia, especially Japan. The two chefs had been close friends back in their New York days.
