For a hilarious start to the month The Comedy Club Bangkok, located above The Royal Oak Pub (Sukhumvit 33/1), welcomes some fantastic funnymen (and women) to join forces with Bangkok’s local comics this March.
On Friday, March 3rd, don’t miss US actor/comedian Jonathan Samson, a familiar face on Thai TV, as well as Xiaojie Qin, fresh from the Beijing comedy scene, and local favourite Chris Raufeisen, known for his edgy observations.
Later in the month, on Friday, March 10th, American improvisor Meg Anderson will be substituting real facts with better alternatives. This special, one-night only guest is the driving force behind ‘Sweet Danger Improv’ in Taiwan, and tickets for her show are B400 in advance, and B500 online.
On Friday, March 17th, it’s stand-up comedy open mic night again, and The Comedy Club welcomes Bangkok favourite and Magners International Comedy Competition winner Tristan Botly and rising star Justin St, alongside new and more seasoned local comics.
Price, as usual, is B250 in advance (online or at The Royal Oak Pub), and B350 at the door.The shows start at 8:30pm, and drink specials include B85 beers and B95 wines.
