With the recent opening of Al Meroz, Bangkok welcomes a brand new Halal hotel. Meaning “heritage” in Arabic, the name of the hotel was chosen to represent the proud heritage of Muslim people across the world. The Arabian-inspired building is located on Ramkhamhaeng Road Soi 5, only a short walk from The Foundation of Islamic Centre of Thailand, which offers religious services and guidance to the Muslim Community. The hotel offers 242 spacious rooms, with an entire floor dedicated to female guests with female staff in attendance. Other facilities include a prayer room, a swimming pool, a gymnasium, and a shopping arcade. In addition, all meals are Halal-certified and there’s no alcohol served on the hotel premises.
