The Hope Fair 2017, taking place on March 28th—from 9am till 3pm—at The Rembrandt Hotel (Sukhumvit Soi 18), will bring together more than 100 artisans, craftspeople, chefs, and delicatessens, all of whom will have their goods exclusively available for this unique one-day event. The Hope Fair was launched in 2014 on the principle of community. It is a unique fair, where clients can talk directly to the suppliers, artisans, and producers. Many of products are home or hand-made with love, purpose, and passion. The foods are mainly organic, healthy, and natural, while the cosmetics and heath products for sale are made from natural ingredients. For kids there will be a selection of educational games, trendy clothes, fun costumes, and amusing activities. Admission is free but all the participating vendors will be donating a percentage of the proceeds to the Mercy Centre of Klong Toey. Located in the slums of Bangkok, the Mercy Centre is a shelter for street kids with five orphanages, a hospice, a home for mothers and children with HIV/AIDS, and a serene haven for all in need.
