Where opulence meets sophistication
This isn’t just a ‘second location’ of KOI in Bangkok – it is the iteration to the next level of the iconic KOI brand in one of Asia’s most exciting and pulsating cities. Since its inception in LA in 2002, KOI has been continuously recognized as a top destination for contemporary Japanese dining in Los Angeles, New York, Las Vegas, Bangkok and Abu Dhabi. In doing so, it has established itself as a leading global hospitality brand by innovating concepts that uniquely and seamlessly capture the array of sensory indulgence that attract high-value clientele.
Emphasizing atmosphere as much as cuisine, KOI offers guests a visceral dining excursion and an unmatched lifestyle experience. Its concept was first envisioned by entrepreneur Nick Haque in Los Angeles, where KOI – by combining the finest elements of Japanese dining with a vibrancy synonymous with the City of Angels – reimagined fine dining for the modern era.
With its fresh take on Japanese fare and its alluring Feng Shui inspired designs, KOI dazzled L.A. crowds and quickly became the talk-of-the-town amongst Hollywood’s glitterati, which include stars such as Leonardo DiCaprio, George Clooney, Madonna and Jennifer Lopez; to name a few.
Building on this success, Nick alongside his brothers Ron Haque Sikder and Rick Haque Sikder opened KOI’s first Bangkok outlet in the city’s bustling Sukhumvit area in 2005. As a diverse melting pot of people and cultures, Bangkok proved to be the perfect setting for KOI’s first foray into Asia, where it has grown a loyal customer base which includes business elites as well as the who’s who in Thai society.
KOI’s newest outlet at Sathorn Square – nestled in Bangkok’s most prestigious district – boasts a nature-inspired design that is separated into two distinct areas while offering guests outstanding views of the Thai capital’s bejewelled skyline. At KOI Restaurant, guests can dine on delectable Japanese-Californian cuisine designed by expert chefs from Los Angeles and using only the freshest, top-shelf ingredients.
Opening hours are from Tuesday to Sunday 6pm to 1am Friday and Saturday 6pm to 2am. Table reservations are highly recommended.
