Set to open in March 2020, Sindhorn Midtown promises the standard of a 5-star hotel at a 4-star hotel rate.
Another brand-new hotel opens in the centre of Bangkok, here’s what we know about Sindhorn Midtown and what makes it stand out.
Art and Design
Launched by Siam Sindhorn Co., Limited, this new hospitality brand collaborates with the designer of Apple’s flagship Manhattan store, Eight Inc. for the sleek interior architecture. Small details are paid attention to such as the lobby tapestry handwoven by local artist, Kachama Perez and the iconic in-room Drop chair designed by Fritz Hansen, giving Nordic vibes.
Food and Beverage
Many might be familiar with the idea of hotel breakfast that includes a full American buffet line with English and continental additions and some Asian selections. At Tr.EAT, the buffet and a la carte menu is served until noon and emphasises more on Thai and local fare especially on Bangkok’s infamous street food items. The rum bar near the lobby, Rhumba, also carries the city’s largest collection of rum.
Facilities
Other than the convenient location, a two-storey 7-Eleven Premium is set on the ground level where hotel guests can order items and have someone from the hotel deliver them right to their door. Plus, Harborland, a children’s area in Little Bangkok theme is situated by the serviced residences and offers extra spaces for running, climbing, reading, gaming and organised recreations.
