Tucked away in Sukhumvit Soi 36 is a stylish two-storey Italian restaurant complete with a glass dining room off to the side that opens up to a beautiful green garden.
L’Oliva Ristorante Italiano & Wine Bar sits next to the small Cafe Olives, is one of the latest on the Bangkok dining scene. The restaurant specialises in offering Neapolitan pizzas and trattoria-style dining options perfect for sharing (or not). And just in perfect time for the season, L’Oliva presents special offers for the festive occasion with special 11-course sharing meal (for at least 10 persons) in the gorgeous solarium-like private dining area.
The dining option for this special menu includes dishes like Insalata di Frutta Rucola e Burrata—local wild rocket salad served with mixed fruits, nuts, delicious Burrata from Puglia together with premium Modena’s Balsamic Vinegar; Chitarra al Ragu Abruzzese—homemade and fresh-made ‘guitar string’ pasta with tomato ragu served with beautifully tenderised veal-lamb-pork and chilli infused olive oil (L’Oliva’s unique infusion).
Mortadella e Pistacchio Pizza—pizza with fresh Fiordilatte cheese, smooth zucchini cream, mortadella, mascarpone and crushed pistachios for added textures; Branzino al Sale—fresh whole local seabass baked in rock salt; Arrosticini—the traditional charcoal grilled lamb skewers with meat from shoulder and rump for a more rounded flavours, Abruzzo-style with dessert option like Cannoli Abruzsesi—the Abruzzo’s style cannoli with assorted sweet cream fillings to mention a few.
The festive season’s special offer is available for lunch and priced at B1,500++ per person (for a group of 10 persons) with additional B665++ per person for wine pairing.
