On Monday, March 20th, from 3pm to 4pm, celebrate ‘International Macaron Day, 2017’ at Sofitel Bangkok Sukhumvit’s fittingly named Parisian-style café, Le Macaron (LF, 189 Sukhumvit Rd). For the occasion, pastry chef Joffrey Jacob has even created a special array of these crispy and colourful delights.
For B20 net per piece, or at the promotion of ‘buy 5, get 1 free’, guests can purchase macaron shells to stick on a 1.5-metre-high elephant, located in the hotel lobby, with the proceeds from the sales going towards the Elephant Foundation of Thailand. Meanwhile, guest at the event are also invited to taste some of the pass-around macarons, while enjoying free flow tea shakes.
And if you can’t get enough of these small and sweet creations, you’ll be glad to hear that, until April 20th, guests can purchase a selection of 6 pieces for B299++, or a box of 12 for B599++.
