This November guests at Sala Rim Naam will embark on a culinary journey as we celebrate the sumptuous restaurant’s 30th anniversary. The classic Thai style “Pavilion on the River” originally opened in 1983 on the west bank of the Chao Phraya on a former rice paddy. Over the years, Prestigious publications and food critics have deemed Sala Rim Naam the pinnacle of authentic Thai cuisine, and today it stands as Bangkok’s most celebrated Thai restaurant, having mastered the subtle flavor profiles of sweet, sour, salty and spicy.
To celebrate Sala Rim Naam’s 30th anniversary, our visionary Executive Thai Chef Vichit Mukura, along with his culinary dished and cocktails from the past 30 years. Highlights include classics such as Lon Poo (sea crab cooked in herbed coconut cream), Khanom Jeeb Thai(steamed Thai dumplings filled with herbed minced chicken and peanuts), Yaam Nuea Yaang Gub A-Ngoon(spicy grilled beef salad with grapes and mint) and Sakoo Piek Khao Pod (sweetened tapioca pearls with corn kernel pudding and coconut cream).
The Special celebration will also feature entertainment inspired by ancient masked northern-style Siamese dance.
