River City Bangkok, Asia’s premier antiques and arts centre located on Chao Phraya River, held a grand opening ceremony to debut two new European Masters exhibitions yesterday.
Yuthachai Charanachitta, President and CEO of Italthai Group and Linda Cheng, Managing Director of River City Bangkok, together with Oleg Marinin, Managing Partner Vision Multimedia Projects GmbH presided over the ceremony with a famous artist, Pongsuang Kunprasop.
Celebrities, art lovers and enthusiasts alike attended the opening last night including Nualpan Osathanonda, Kongpat Sakdapitak, Piyavipa Indradat, Muchumas Numbenjapol, Jitsing Somboon, Veerasak Chunhajak, Duangkamol Vephula, Apipawadee Sanitwong na Ayutthaya, Apasiri Devahastin na Ayutthaya, Pensupa Khotchaseni and many more
The immersive multimedia art exhibition of light and sound from Vision Multimedia Projects has two parts. Part one features 16 pieces of masters’ arts from the 20th-century painters who are all passionate and determined to change the way people think about the world around them no matter what kind of criticisms they received; while the second part aims to celebrate the 500th anniversary of Da Vinci’s passing with the works of Botticelli, Raphael and Da Vinci and Michelangelo.
River City Bangkok continued to bring the people, especially the younger generations, closer to the art world through the use of technology and believed that no matter how young or matured the audience may be; they will be able to enjoy the exhibitions.
The art exhibition, “From Monet to Kandinsky” will be available to the public from today until July 31. The “Italian Renaissance” art exhibition will follow from August 8 until October 31, 2019, at RCB Galleria, 2nd floor, River City Bangkok which opens daily from 10am-10pm.
