Expats in Thailand will already be familiar with San Pellegrino’s range of refreshing, sparkling drinks which have been a fixture in bars and restaurants for decades. In August, San Pellegrino officially launched in Thailand.
San Pellegrino Aranciata finds its roots in the Italian tradition of preparing delicious, thirst-quenching fruits with sparkling water and sugar. In 1932, San Pellegrino intuitively produced an industrial version of orange soda, offering consumers a beverage that was part of their lifestyle yet was even more convenient because it was already prepared and ready to be enjoyed.
The extraordinary popularity of the Aranciata drove San Pellegrino to add to its range of drinks further with the launching of Chinotto, a refined bittersweet drink made with citrus fruit of the same name. Limonata, a zesty and thirst-quenching drink made with Sicilian sun-ripened lemons, followed shortly and Aranciata Rossa joined the range with a special variety of Sicilian blood orange that gives a tangy, sweet taste.
We look forward to a tipple sooner rather than later.
