New York meets Bangkok at VIU, where Chef Matthew Woolford has designed a new menu inspired by the Big Apple’s classic bistros and grills.
The recently unveiled menu includes signature starters, such as Akami Saku Tuna Tartar, where the wasabi is transformed into crisp wafers, and classic mains like 24-hour Wagyu Beef Short Ribs with Bloody Mary Butter, which are succulent, slow-cooked ribs accompanied by the chef’s take on a Café de Paris butter.
Also available are sandwiches straight out of New York, including a Reuben and The St. Regis Rossini Burger, and a range of quintessential Thai dishes.
