Online Marketing Specialist (part time)

Requirements
• Thai nationality only; good command of English
• 2 years of experience as a Social Media Specialist or similar role
• Social Media Strategist using social media for brand awareness and impressions
• Good understanding of social media KPIs
• Familiarity with web design and publishing
• Excellent multitasking skills

Job Description
• Develop, implement and manage our Instagram strategy
• Define most important social media KPIs

Requirements
• Thai nationality (female preferred); fresh graduates will be considered
• Have a good understanding of Sales principles and ability to deliver excellent customer services

• Effective presentation and negotiation skills

Event Coordinator

Event coordinator responsibilities include providing outstanding customer service and organising memorable events that meet quality expectations.

Requirements
• Thai nationality only; good command of English
• Proven event management experience
• Excellent time management and communication skills
• Sales skills and ability to build productive business relationships
• Ability to manage multiple projects independently
• MS Office proficiency
• BS in Event Management or related field

Job Description
• Plan, design and produce events while managing all project delivery elements within time limits
• Provide feedback and periodic reports to stakeholders
• Propose ideas to improve provided services and event quality
• Organise facilities and manage all event’s details such as decor, catering, entertainment, transportation, location, invitee list, special guests, equipment, promotional material etc
• Specify staff requirements and coordinate their activities
• Cooperate with marketing and PR to promote and publicize event
• Proactively handle any arising issues and troubleshoot any emerging problems on the event day
• Conduct pre- and post – event evaluations and report on outcomes

Freelance Writer

Bangkok 101 is a bi-monthly lifestyle and city magazine for expats and tourists visiting or revisiting Bangkok and Thailand, and a leading source of ideas and creative activities in the country.

Submission Guidelines:

Bangkok 101 content
Bangkok 101 magazine is about 75% based on our in-house writers and 25% contributor written. Articles include interviews of outstanding personalities in various industries, exclusive interviews with chefs and hotel executives, interesting and unique foodie stories, travel stories, museum features, restaurant, hotel and bar reviews and more.

Bangkok 101 accepts queries from freelance writers. We seek writers who can write articles pertinent to our audience in an entertaining and concise style. However, we do not accept advertorial or review pieces unless explicitly solicited by Bangkok 101.

Query
The query should detail why you think your story idea is good for Bangkok 101 magazine. Please include an outline on your proposed article and background information on what you want to write about. You can also submit examples of your previously published work as a reference. Allow 2-3 weeks for us to respond. While unsolicited manuscripts are ok, no simultaneous submissions, please.

Once the query is accepted, the writer must agree to and sign the Contributor Agreement form and adhere to the agreed length and format.

Once confirmed
Once the query is confirmed and the agreement signed, the writer can begin working on the article. Please submit the article in Word Document or Google Document format, single-spaced copy with artwork or corresponding images via the designated email with all necessary captions. Submit work with content and images in a folder via WeTransfer or share via Google Drive or DropBox if the combined files are larger than 5 MB.

For magazine submission, images must be high resolution (300 dpi) with proper credit added to each image.

Payment
Payment is based on a set fee, rather than a word count system. Columns in Bangkok 101 typically run from 400-600 words while features can run up to 1,200-1,500 words. Payment normally ranges from B1,000-3,000 depending on the assignment. The payment will be confirmed prior to signing the Contributor Agreement form.

Payment is made monthly within the 10th of the month. Writers must submit all necessary documents and invoice at least one to two weeks prior to the 10th of the month, otherwise, the payment will be issued in the next month’s payout round.
